She was one of our original cows that we drove many miles to get her (and others) and have never been disappointed. She has a wide topline to die for and is easy fleshing. She possesses a very calm personality (not that we accept anything different). Her calves all have her personality and build. Though we didn’t show her, you can certainly take her calves if you choose or add to your beef program. Her pedigree will take you back to Gary Gilbert’s GTL Unique U02, among other things. A heifer of hers was awarded 2024 WABA Futurity Fullblood Reserve Grand Champion and 2024 NILE Junior Heifer Reserve Grand Champion.

Kobblevale Sassy x The Game Changer

Her Dam- Kobblevale Sassy is a full sister to Kobblevale Surprise. Talk about maternally loaded. Game Changer has awards earned in US and Canada, and great carcass data as well. Their depth of body, spring of rib, and amazing toplines goes a long way. 2023 bull calf earned the WABA Futurity Fullblood Bull Grand Champion (TRG Lawless).

Quartermaster is an essential part of many beef programs and yet still could say he underutilized. He has also made a big impact when combining with the Kobblevale Surprise genes. Which interestingly enough TL Montana Surprise (dam) is a daughter of Surprise along with the powerful MCR Opinionated. Montana Surprise is also a full sister to ILC Maveric, the 2017 National Grand Champion Bull. We purchased her as a bred heifer and has been a great addition to our program. Her 2023 bull calf earned WABA Futurity Fullblood Bull Reserve Grand Champion (TRG Gangster of Love).

She has amazing grass genetics, which is no surprise looking at her pedigree. Her depth of body, length of spine and femininity have such great eye appeal. There is no doubt why she’s a successful part of our program.

MCR Lasting Memory x TL The Game Changer

Is doesn’t matter who she is bred to, you get good sized, with depth of body and easy fleshing. Her bull calves are masculine and heifers are still as thick as her but still with a feminine outline.

Talk about a stacked pedigree, it’s no wonder she as thick as she is. She is a half sister to Happy Ending, which makes it interesting to look at their calves carrying all their traits along.

She is the last natural cow out this pair. As you can see by the two productive daughters we have retained, we are not disappointed with her.

Fairwyn’s Santana x MCR Overdrive

Santana sold for $18,500 at the 2007 National Sale and has been a money maker ever since. Overdrive has the highest scores of any of MCR’s herd bulls. There is no doubt why she works well for us. Magic is the dam to TRG My Maria awarded 2024 WABA Futurity Grand Champion Fullblood Heifer. Plus TRG Black Betty who was 2023 WABA Reserve Grand Champion Fullblood Heifer, among other great prodigy. Her 2022 bull calf TRG Kingsman went on to breed in a commercial herd. As you can see she also has great carcass ability.
