TRG Ranch Operation

We are not just a cow/calf or a finishing company, but all of the above. Our cows are moderate in size, but are thick in overall body, good utters, spring of rib and deep girths ranging from 900-1100# for what is considered Fullbood Aberdeen cattle. We strive to pull from proven genetics from both the rail and show rings. They are raised without growth hormones in a low stress environment. Our cows are similar in shape and size regardless of their breeding. We are working from cow families, not as much from a particular bull.

About Our Ranch

In the fall 2018 we bought our first 6 head from the Sunset Ranch in California. Within the year prior we had bought new land, sold our house, still had one kid in school and looking ahead at our dreams. We wanted to produce quality beef in smaller size for sustainability purposes, less land, and for those that can’t store the quantity typical commercial cattle take, without the sacrifice of taste or tenderness. This is not our first time with livestock overall, just newer to this breed. We have had livestock in our lives for pretty much our whole lives. My husband’s family is 5th generation rancher in this area.
